Make Poverty History - says dirtiboy

Welcome to dirtiboy.com [aka - romford-hornchurch.co.uk] ; the site name was inspired by Scott Mills & Chris Moyles at Radio One, and all their mates too.

I Know this is a bit strange, but I have decided to keep the dirtiboy.com site running in its entirety, and at the same time create a site about Hornchurch & Romford & surrounding areas. Romford is already fairly well covered by the Romford - Now & Then site - this site adds additional info.

As regards Hornchurch, I have lived in the area for the past 25 years, and double that if you include Romford, so I will try and add some truly personal recollections of the area, as well as lots of facts, too.

Bear with me, whilst I get this site running - BUT if you want to contribute absolutely anything, please send me a mail.

Another inspiration, if you can call it that, is the Make Poverty History campaign. In a simple statement - wait a while and listen to Bono, sharing what changed his life., and probably yours too.

$1 is the daily income of half of Africa's people

This list is not exhaustive, but I have researched  many resources that are available, many in National statistic offices, much in local media, and  to add some sort of realism to facts and figures. I include source material for you to confirm these results.
